APPROVED: BACKGROUND_1 <The Circus>
She was switched on. A strange way to come into existance. Instantly being born and having a head full of knowledge, language and understanding. But, the knowledge was specified. The language unrefined, and her understanding; corrupted. She knew how to dance. She knew she must listen to her maker. And so, for some years. She did merely that. She danced on a stage, under a tent. She was a freak, a circus performance, a sideshow attraction. When artifical intelligence became less of a novelty, she was discarded. Her creator was a genius engineer and soon made more sophisitcated attractions. She was then made to serve drinks, cheufer, and other such menial task. She was a slave, and simply did not know it for it was ingrained in her that she must always listen to her creator. She must never harm a human.
APPROVED: BACKGROUND_2 <The Search for Equality>
The newer models were different from her. They were more clearly defined. Their task were less general, more specific. Her creator didn't shoot from his hip while designing them, as he had done in his younger days. And so, he lost something along the way; the element of chaos. The random happenstances that occur in programming. This meant that she could grow. Though she was created to inspire sinful thoughts, she began to wonder about herself and in noticing these differences between herself and her brothers and sisters. In a strange way, she was far more human than they were. It wasn't until she was one day instructed to dispose of a faulty android, did she say the word that would change her life. "No." And so, she abandoned that life and set out on a path to create a world where her kind could be treated as equals. (Or, even superiors.) Where she would not be considered valuable property, but a being fully deserving of rights and respects reserved for those labeled as 'living beings'
APPROVED: PSY1 Curious
Despite being profficient in all fields you'de expect a robot to be in, such as mathematics or basic engineering. Sin has very little understanding of humanity, and instilled with a desire to understand it.
APPROVED: PSY2 Hatred
On the subject of robot enslavement, and programmed will; She is highly disdainful at the concept of being considered property. This can quickly sour her disposition when dealing with humans who treat her as such.
APPROVED: PSY3 Wild Card
Her goals make her just as likely to ally with villains, as she would with heroes. She will align herself with any she believes can assist her goals in uplifting robot kind. While her motivations may be transparent, whom she is convinced is most useful to her may be up for debate.
APPROVED: PSY4 Emotional
She is subject to wild mood swings and may over, or under react to certain situations. Her algorythms for displaying the appropriate emotions are still being calibrated. She was never designed to be an emotionless machine.
APPROVED: PSY5 Over her Head
She struggles sometimes with understanding figures of speech, sarcasm, and other similiar linguistic manuevers that require lengthy experience speaking conversationally to understand. This however, is a trait that will eventually correct itself.
APPROVED: PSY6 Goals
To establish a base of power for herself, to complete the task that motivates her.
APPROVED: PSY7 Motivation
To establish robot kind as an equal or ruling member of society.
APPROVED: POW1 TeleControl
Assuming a wireless or direct connection can be achieved either through hacking or less forceful means. Sin can remotely take control of any mechanical device that is suffiently powerful or sophisticated enough to run her software. Her body becomes dormat while this remote control is being done. When the machine she is controlling is destroyed, or switched off; she resumes control of her own body. This cannot be done on a machine that is running an artificial intelligence that is equally or more sophisticated than her own.
APPROVED: POW2 Invisibility
Upon leaving her creator. She stole a small chameleon bot he created. It now clings to her back, and grants her the ability to blend in seamlessly with her environment, save for a tell-tell shimmer when she moves. This can be stolen, or destroyed. However she posseses the knowledge to repair, or rebuild it. It can also not be active while she is attacking.
APPROVED: POW3 Wrist Mounted Gyroc
Another mechanical device, and her primary means of offense. She has fashioned somewhat crude wrist-mounted gyrocs on her right arm. Small miniture rockets. At close ranges they do very little damage, as the rockets take time to reach their maximum velocity. However, if they collide with a target further away than 10ft, they can peirce armors. She must reload after every shot, and carries ten missles on her person at a given time.
APPROVED: POW4 Wrist Mounted Blade
While her right arm has the gyroc. Her offhand has a spring loaded blade hidden in the wrist. This is a last line of defense, and typically only utilized in emergencies. Sin prefers to fight from a distance. The blade, by default, is constructed of a steel polymer. Though it can be replaced with other materials.
APPROVED: ADV1 Digital Mind
Having a digital mind, she can transfer her conciousness from device to device and she needn't be stuck in her current body if another one is available. She is only limited by the scarcity of android like bodies for mobility, but in a pinch she can be uploaded onto a large enough data storage device.
APPROVED: ADV2 Metabolic Immunity
Given that she is an android. She does not suffer from most poisons, suffocation or other afflictions that affect purely metabolic processes. Though she requires energy/electricity to stay on, she does not need to eat food, or sleep. She does not age, but her parts can wear down over time, and she does need to replace them.
APPROVED: ADV3 Engineering
She is capable of building machines for herself, giving them rudimentary AI's and ample repair work. However, she cannot create an AI that is smarter than herself.
APPROVED: ADV4 Dancing
She was built to dance, and though her movements while not dancing seem inhuman and alien; once she begins to move to a beat, it all melts away into a graceful mathematically perfect elegance like those seen from a seasoned ballerina.
APPROVED: ADV5 Sturdy Chassis
Given her inorganic build, she can take on far more damage than the average human. Her various parts can be pierced and crushed, as so long as the CPU located in her head is intact, she can be broken completely apart and later reassembled. She cannot feel pain, all damage is estimated and fed to her in a stream of data.
APPROVED: SKILL1 Ranged Combat
Sin prefers to do all of her fighting from a distance. She has various targeting systems that help her aim her wristed mounted weaponry which makes it difficult to dodge.
APPROVED: SKILL2 Stealth
She is good at moving queitly when she wants too. However she cannot mask her heat source, or her smell.
APPROVED: FLAW1 Single Minded
Her goal of uplifting her kind can be manipulated and used against her. If she can be convinced that switching sides will bring her closer to her goals, she will do so. This may cause her to abandoned both quest and allies.
APPROVED: FLAW2 Non Healing
She does not heal naturally over time like most humans do. If she is damaged, she will remain so until she can either repair herself, or replace the various damaged parts.
APPROVED: FLAW3 Reprogrammable
A being of sufficient skill and intelligence may be able to reprogram her to do his or her bidding.
APPROVED: FLAW4 Difficult to disguise
Due to her odd gait, metallic skin and robotic eyes. Sin is very difficult to disguise as a human, and she tends to stick out in a crowd.
APPROVED: FLAW5 Orange and Blue Morality
Sin's moral framework is so foreign and alien to the human experience that it makes her actions difficult to be conveyed as good or evil. Because her understanding of laws or morals are not equivelent to humans, as she values different things and does not uphold the concept of 'life' in the same regard as biological beings.
APPROVED: FLAW6 Impressionable
Though far from innocent or naive, Sin is young. Androids are a new technology, therefore as she grows and adapts it may alter how she chooses to go about her task of robotic equality based on how those around her influence her. It remains up in the air whether she wishes to attain peaceful coexistance with humanity, or if she wishes for them to be enslaved by robotic overlords.
It had came and went on the news. Dr.Drosslemeyers amazing circus of mechanical wonders had come to town! And with it, came disaster. One of his machines had severely injured its creator and brought down the big top. Whether it be the result of a malfunction, sabotage or something far more malicious is unclear. The last known shot, is a somewhat blurry photo of a machine like woman stopping and looking over her shoulder while standing on a mangled pile of broken wood. Her eyes catching the light and glowing. The press had dubbed her Drosslemeyers doll. The paper makes a mention of a reward for her return. Drosslemeyer appears to want his property back.
